"How this simple change can boost your confidence."

Vulnerable talks today.

It's a beautiful day and the sun is shining bright. I’d like to dabble in on this conversation today and let’s be honest with each other y’all, today we will be talking about self confidence.

Saying you’re going to do something but ending up actually doing the complete opposite does more harm to your self confidence than you might realize.  It's essential to mean what you say and follow through, especially when it concerns yourself and your goals. How many times have you heard someone tell you to speak kindly to yourself?

It’s true the way you speak to yourself can change the way you see yourself and in return the way you treat the people around you. We build confidence by the way we feel inside. So naturally if things are going good we feel in a great mood, as opposed to if things have been going wrong we feel like we would rather not be bothered and left alone. That’s normal, but understanding that means you have the power to decide if something ruins your day or not. Your daily experiences depend on the time you invest in self-reflection and self-understanding.

So how your day goes is ultimately up to how much time you have spent giving back to yourself, the time you’ve set aside to sit down, and understand who you truly are. There’s a lot of ways you can do that. You just have to find something you like that fits your personality and lifestyle. If you're unsure where to begin, stay tuned to this page; we'll be sharing tips on this topic.

I take out my journal at the start or end of my day and write down everything from my emotions that day, to my vision for the next ten years, ideas I get from books, to my pet peeves, and much more. This practice helps me understand the thoughts that happen in my mind daily. Later, I can revisit them for a boost or a reminder that I'm on the right path.

Small routines like this make me feel at ease with my thoughts, and being comfortable with your mind boost’s my confidence on the outside. Can you see the pattern? What you think, you eventually become.

Spending time alone is crucial for your growth, mental health and ultimately your success. This is what sets you apart from the crowd, Because most of the time people are afraid to be alone, or haven’t got used to the feeling of truly being independent.

If you make it a habit to dedicate time each day or once a week to be with yourself and practice self-care, you'll jump start your journey to becoming the best version of yourself, your best version is waiting on the other side. It’s up to you to make it happen. It might take some time but your on the right path.

You can't pour from an empty cup, so start by filling your own. This will be the biggest investment in your life, and those around you will notice the positive changes. You'll be able to share your knowledge and bless them with what you’re learning. Your confidence begins here.

Happy Saturday friends, make a difference and influence the culture.
